Security Resources Inc. (SRI) is a small, service disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone business located in Parkton, North Carolina. We offer state of the art self defense, surveillance, and security products, training and services to businesses, security professionals, government organizations and individuals with an equal level of commitment to each. Our team of professionals has many years of hands on training and operational experience. We employ former law enforcement personnel, corporate and private security professionals and individuals with relevant military experience (Our President is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces operator).

Each professional team member possesses an impressive background in either, law enforcement, the Department of Defense or private sector security. Many of our personnel hold a current DoD Secret security clearance and several are cleared for Top Secret (TS) information and granted access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Our team of professionals excels at maintaining privacy, confidentiality and security at all times. At SRI we maintain strict compliance with all local, State and Federal regulations including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). SRI can meet the educational and training needs of our clients at a state of the art training facility cleared for the production and storage of classified (collateral secret) information. Additionally we can provide on-site tailored instruction via our "mobile training team concept". Utilizing the mobile training team concept we can maximize the training opportunity for our clients, reduce work interruptions and eliminate many “traditional” expenses such as employee travel and lodging at the training site. SRI can provide subject matter experts with the requisite training and experience necessary to meet the client’s desired program of instruction. SRI can develop the customized course curriculum, and deliver the course of instruction to the client at their location of choice. SRI uses this methodology to provide specialized educational, training and consulting services custom designed to meet the client’s needs at a drastically reduced cost and greater convenience and flexibility to the customer. SRI offers a variety of public safety educational and training programs dedicated to providing state of the art law enforcement training opportunities to criminal justice professionals. SRI is a proven leader in providing requirements-based educational and training services for numerous city, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.
SRI specializes in providing integrated, multi-disciplinary security and consulting services to our clients. SRI personnel have participated in the development and validation of several vulnerability assessments and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) for various government agencies. SRI offers an exceptional "adversary perspective", which is unique and complements the traditional protection program methodologies. Historically, security planners identify what constitutes their "core assets" and then designs its security in layers outward from those assets. SRI's proven methodology is to identify targets that are the most attractive to a potential adversary, determine the most likely methods of exploitation, and develop appropriate security measures to reduce or eliminate the risk and mitigate the consequences. This "outside the box" approach is not designed to replace traditional security planning; but provides an additional tool that can be utilized to increase the effectiveness of the overall program. SRI security personnel have successfully applied this technique in both the Continental United States and overseas security risk assessments for governments and commercial industries as well as “at risk” facilities and individuals.
Specialized Experience
Department of Defense: SRI personnel that provide support to our DoD clients have many years of operational experience in the U.S Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) community and possess a minimum of a secret security clearance.
Law Enforcement: The SRI team includes personnel with many years of operational experience in the Law Enforcement community. Our team of Law Enforcement professionals range from individuals with experience working with small community police departments up to and including State Bureau of Investigation and even International Law Enforcement training and experience.
Private Sector Security Professionals: In addition to our personnel with experience as either a Law Enforcement officer or with the Department of Defense we employ security professionals from the private sector. Our Private Sector Security Professionals come from a variety of backgrounds and diverse security disciplines. They not only bring many years of experience but also the unique “corporate perspective” to the security solution development process. They maintain current certification in their chosen discipline including the prestigious qualification of Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society of Industrial Specialist (ASIS).
