The Vehicle Adapter Module (VAM) is the insert the provides more permanent operation. The Vehicle Adapter Module replaces the battery pack, will hold a small battery itself, and can be attached to the battery of a mobile unit. If disabled from main power the VAM will notify user that there was a power disconnect. Ideal for theft concerns!
