Alarms allow personal freedom, peace of mind, and safety. Alarms are traditionally used to notify one of an unauthorized approach or entry but many modern alarms can also montior other movements. A young child opening a gun cabnet, leaving the yard, approaching the cellar stairs are a few examples of activites that our alarms can monitor. Some alarms, if properly installed, can also function as wireless pet monitors and/or "fences".
How can an alarm monitor a child's or a pet's activities?
The usefullness of an alarm is limited only by the owner's imagination. There are several types of alarms available to monitor children and/or pets:
Proximity alarms can be used to monitor when a particular area is left/entered
Doors and even drawers can be monitored for opening/closing
